Spirit Ridge

Josi gives gratitude to Beth Rutty, founder of the private studio space, that shares movement classes, and further healing modalities. They are excited to support fostering a community space, that shares times for us to breathe, move, and be together, in a safer and more accountable space. The studio holds space for small group classes, as well as special events to facilitate good relations and support for the local community.

Fall Classes

Modified Intentional Movement (MIM) is based on yoga, functional movement, and breathing practices, that are adjusted with props and a simplified range of motion, that can shift over time. The MIM series is curated to support our overall wellbeing, and designed with our intentions, everyday efforts, and joys in mind, be it with family, friends, animals, and/or nature. Josi is facilitating both a summer & fall session for the MIM series with Spirit Ridge studio.

Josi continues to study and practice with the many branches of yoga, and within the past 16 years, has facilitated movement & breath practices from Canada to Peru, Ecuador, and Bahrain. Josi has studied with multiple teachers in meditation (dhyana), yoga asana, pranayama, and philosophy worldwide. They are a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, with additional studies and teaching certifications in Anusara yoga, Reiki, and is a mobility specialist in Functional Range Conditioning.

Josi is a teacher of subtle energy practices and a tarot diviner, for well over 13 years. They have taught Reiki for 12 of those years, which has supported further connections to their ancestral medicines and ways. As an energy medicine practitioner, they share subtle energy body treatments, as well as services to support cleansing/protection of your home. These are shared to assist in your overall well-being, maintenance of pains/discomforts in body and mind, as well as to secure more space to feel safer and more at ease in.

Body energy treatments are with Josi, Reiki, and Ancestral medicine helpers, as needed.

My energy services are offered in sacred reciprocity, via donation, or exchange. When done locally, cash/e-transfer is preferred. I tend to share these private services in your home, but a private studio space can be arranged as needed. When a service occurs at a private studio, or i must travel by car more than 30mins, a request for gas money/studio rental fee is shared.

From the monies received of your donation for agreed-upon energy services, a portion is always shared forwards to Black &/ Indigenous support initiatives in the local/global areas. Updates of all mutual aid support is shared on Josi's Patreon.

Josi is part of a group of international diviners and energy practitioners. They endeavour together, to co-facilitate online circles for mutual aid, sharing sustainable support, for us all.

This is part of their community vision, both online, and off-, of HU-MAN, a Divinely-inspired, Mutual Aid Net, where through our collective efforts, we can share forwards financial aid to grassroots organizations and on-the-ground efforts globally, to the areas & peoples most in need.
