Tree of Lifetimes
(2020) This painting is one of my largest, the human pictured is larger than me. On a 2x4 foot canvas, this surreal image shares a human-like figure with branches for hair, and in communications with a snake. A toroidal orb hovers above their left open hand, as their right hand carries the snakes large body.
In naming this painting, there were many words that came through, and it was quite the experience painting it, with a lot of communal drumming music and dance. Some of the words to be shared here alongside these parts:
