Embracing responsibility while releasing old doctrines

The roles we may have considered to be our final destination, as we have moved and traversed along the mind-boggling road map of our life journeys, may continue to alter and adjust. Can we release the need for there to be a destination in mind? Can we alter course accordingly, allowing for the interplay between our needs and responsibilities?  Relinquishing the reigns of controlling desired outcomes, and simultaneously then allowing further revisionary experiencing of all that we can possibly do and achieve? Revisions are not to be feared, but can be honoured, in the trust that as we shift, and our world shifts, that so too can the unnecessary indoctrinations clasped onto so tightly, still, within our minds.

These times that we are in, require immense breaths and creativity, to assist in fortifying our consistency of capacity for the most real to subsist amidst all of it- what is ridiculously falling, and the many that are rising up simultaneously, which would make many run to the hills and the caves and await for the tried, tested, and true to come back again. Yet, those times may not be, or become, unless we assemble our selves whole, and adjust the yearnings of a past that has come and gone, while becoming diligent in our ability to be with what is present (even with culpability), and step forwards, gently, paving new roads and grooves for the many that may come after us, to navigate once more.

This may mean all the wondrous things that are whispered, like, open to the mystery, and commit to your truths, etcetera etcetera. The great battle cries of yesteryore, that allowed those on the brink and by the edges, to rev their heart engines and stoke their kindling, to allow them to carry, or tarry on. And yes, many may then admit that they must strengthen their ways of practice, renewed vows and commitments, to the dedications already held in groves and thickets, within our spaces and places that still may be shifting, amidst all that’s conflicting, around us, and at times that feels it surrounds us, once more. So then we may proceed to continue, to submit to the sounds of the few, or the masses, to adjust or adhere to how we continue to move through our present currents, fumbling as we attempt to navigate in what direction, or what role, shall we once again play, in this continual cosplay of a very, very, old game of Risk.

Call upon your guardianships. This is a time to collate your advisory boards, strengthen your teams of Ancient ones, those who have witnessed the many interactions, historically, that have moved through and have shaped the ways of our souls. What they have shared of these times, at present, with me, is to be gentle in our new creations, as we honour what may be still shifting and transforming within us, and how can we then hang up the pride and “I can do it by myself, I know best” attitudes that though, yes, may have supported and possibly protected us in the past, may not assist us onwards. That in the potentialities of our creations, that we can commit to allowing time and space for more research, further review, and multiple revisions to our requests and asks. Refining our creations, as we revise our no’s and yes’s, and the configurations of what we require and demand. And that, we can respectfully honour, that as we continue to change, and the world continues to shift along with us, that we may continuously adapt to new roles and responsibilities, as required. Or, we may not, for we do always have a personal power found in choices, our will. Can we honour that some ways we have chosen to perceive things may still need to be adjusted? Can we allow that some ways we have chosen to receive things may still need to be altered? Can we accept that some ways we have committed in asking for things, may require further considerations, or simply put, time?

Deepa Iyer shared a Social Change Map (copyright 2017), that highlights the many roles that we can explore as we further adjust in supporting our bodies, our communities, and society, that I have linked here, if interested to read more of this ever-evolving support structure. Iyer has listed many roles and responsibilities that may be great guiding lights amidst all that is uncertain, yet still carried in. One thing that I may gently suggest, amidst your contemplations, actions, and choices at present, is to potentially consider that even these roles are not necessarily steadfast. For yes, our roles may have shifted, but so have the old doctrines of being “only one thing”. Can we release that too? The old ways may have asked for clear and defined ways of being, a certain ordinancy of a solitary set of skills, a long and arduous path of fortuitous expertise and experience, grooved into one (deemed necessary) role that we co-signed on a dotted line to adhere to in this life. But, as we see, that may be adjusting too. So we review. We tend to what’s been shared before in us, and see what we are willing to revise, in time, over time, again, and again, gently, ever so gently, like the dedicated, heartfelt artistry of the most skilled craftsmen that we are. And possibly, we may discover that we may wish to do more than one thing, and assist in the shifts in many more than one ways?

So, here’s a prompt for us to explore. What are the many roles that may support your steady paces and graces, as we prep our minds and hearts for more regular and consistent change? How can they be interwoven within our days, as we try to tend to and navigate our own internal shifts, as well as the many rings and ripples of shifts occurring through us, beyond us, and around us? How can we gently, and slowly share our new requirements, the non-negotiables, amidst these many converging roles and their unique responsibilities? Wow. More questions than answers are being shared here, at this time.

But that then reminds me, one thing my guardianship has taught me, over time. Clarify your asks and requests, yes. And, accept that responses will arrive. Responses may not always be written in an email, or spoken out of a person’s mouth, but they may be also accessed within us, through our listening and communicating with our senses, our feelings, and doings. So, we can continue to do things, amidst us continuously shifting and altering our limits. We trust that we can still falter and foible, and then revise our actions accordingly.

I look forward to hearing of all the roles you have recommitted to, and the ones you may have allowed to fall away, or be repurposed. Grateful to be here, alongside you, amidst these many alterations and shiftings. For those that wish to revisit their soul’s counsel, or access for the first time their Guardianship advisory committee, you are welcome to connect for a personal service.
